★★★★★ Gorgeous home! Excellent location! Must go back asap! This home is everything you could ask for in CDL and more. We had a group of 10 people staying here and we were all so comfortable. The house is warm and open. The three levels allow for so much privacy and yet opportunity for lots of group hang out time on the main open floor. Even though it was winter we enjoyed hiking tubs hill and walking down town to bars and restaurants. I was hesitant about this house for the higher price tag but it was the BEST choice. So worth the extra money!

I rented the garden house for the week of Thanksgiving so my family could all be together. The kitchen is so well stocked we were able to cook the full Thanksgiving feast, including pies. Having 2 ovens was really a treat! The location was better than I expected. We walked into town every day. The home itself is very spacious yet cozy. The owners were very responsive as well. I highly recommend this home and we will definitely be back!

First I would like to say that I was shocked that there were two excellent bottles of wine and a card waiting for me on the kitchen counter, when we arrived. I had forgotten that, as part of the VRBO booking, I indicated the trip was for a belated birthday celebration for myself. Thank you very much John and Erica. That went way above and beyond. The photos posted of this home are spot on. The house reminds me of a professionally decorated model-home. They do ask that you take off your shoes when entering the home, which we were happy to do, knowing the effort that went into building and maintaining the home at this level of quality. The kitchen was stocked with all the tableware, appliances and glassware that you could ever need. They even had a significant stock of condiments, spices and oils you would need to prepare meals. No need to shop for all the minutiae. The kitchen and bathrooms had plenty of paper goods stocked (paper towels, toilet paper), and t the kitchen had a brand new scrubber sponge for use. I had rented a home near downtown Seattle last month and the home was not close to the representation on their posting, and it was stocked with one days paper goods. This home was one of the best I have rented hands down! This is the fourth time I have visited Coeur D’Alene in the past year. I love this area and the home was perfectly situated between the two main commercial streets (Sherman Ave. & 4th Avenue). There are so many quality restaurants on both these streets. We walked to dinners and lunches from the home, never needing to drive. The neighborhood is beautiful. Hopefully the home is available on our next trip!

Comfortably housing 10+ people isn’t always easy, but we had more than enough space at this house. With plenty of beds and couches, as well as a spacious and well set up kitchen, we had a very comfortable stay!

This was a very spacious home, that was ABSOLUTELY beautiful! It’s in a great location! We walked or rode our bikes downtown. The house was stocked with the pans and utensils we needed to cook with. The beds were comfortable, and we loved having fully stocked bathroom and laundry amenities! We were very comfortable, and will DEFINITELY stay there again when we return to the area! Thank you SO much John and Erica! Your home was perfect!

This home is absolutely beautiful, from decor to layout!!! Location is perfect, walking distance to everything you need! It’s filled with all the necessary things you need and even more! Plenty of room for 2-3 families, even though it was only two of us this time. Clean, upscale, newer construction and smells new as you walk in, so if you are picky as we are, this house is the one! We would love to come back here again! Owners of the home are easy to reach and extremely nice and helpful! Thank you John and Erica!

Just came back from a weeks stay in this beautiful home. Furnished like a model home but very warm and comfortable. Loved the neighborhood! Everything was so close that we walked everywhere, restaurants, shops, park, etc. Trying to plan another trip and I’m hoping the house is available. Thank you John and Erica for a very relaxing and wonderful vacation..

Very nice house! Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I would have liked to see nicer pans for cooking. We did have a tough time with what was provided for cooking but other than that the house was great. Brenda
Owner response: Thanks for the feedback. The kitchen has been stocked with more pans, cooking utensils and serving dishes.

We recently stayed at John and Erica’s older/new home with friends not far from Sherman Ave. We were in town celebrating our 45th anniversary. The home is large and well laid out with a gorgeous open kitchen/dining area – great for the cooks who love to visit while in the kitchen. It is decorated beautifully and every detail was well thought out. It is very close to dining and walking distance of main street. This home can sleep up to 16 per information and would be great for family reunions, in town for a wedding or even a corporate event/informal gathering. I love this VRBO concept instead of staying in local hotels. We did visit the resort though for desserts and Sunday Brunch. . . . . .which was excellent also. We will certainly keep this home in mind for our larger family gathering at Thanksgiving. Thank you for sharing your home.
