★★★★ Quaint and cute. Filled my needs well! Parking spot was a little tricky in the nasty weather, and the kitchen outlets/lights are a little finicky, but cozy flat that was private, and had everything I needed. Would be tough if you’re any taller than me (5’9″) due to shower size.

★★★★★ Some reviews state this space is more like an attic… while it is an upper unit, I would like to clarify that the unit is NOT an attic. It is an upstairs of what was the main house at one time and John and Erica did a great job of making this a private space! If this were a place for rent in the GU area students would eat this up as a livable space! (At least I would if I were still there!) I would highly recommend anyone interested stay there, as I will check it’s availability anytime I’m back in town visiting family and friends. John and Erica were prompt with the key exchange information and would have been available had I needed their services, I’m sure!

★★★★★ Such a cute little home! Although the space would probably be considered an attic by some, it’s super spacious! Really clean and well-stocked with extra linens, blankets, kitchen items, and bath items. The portable AC unit was fabulous, as well as the fan. Close to everything location-wise and the neighborhood is quiet. I will come back if I’m ever in the area again!

★★★★★ John and Erica were super helpful, including a last minute date change from Saturday to Monday to Friday to Sunday because I’d messed up on the booking! They were very easy to communicate with when I had questions. The upstairs apartment was perfect for moving our daughter into her Gonzaga student house – close to Safeway, Ace hardware, and the Gonzaga student housing area. The portable air conditioner kept the apartment cool through out a very hot August week-end. This is a perfect home base for Gonzaga week-ends. Will definitely book again!

★★★★ The furnishings were nice. The kitchen was well stocked and the pans were nice, which is rare. Needed the air conditioner during our stay. There is a low ceiling by the stairs to watch out for. The space is a finished out attic. Nice overall, quite small shower.

John and Erica have a great rental. It’s cute and cozy, and right by the university. There’s also a few grocery stores with in easy walking distance. I was a little worried when I first showed up as it was scorching hot the day I landed. All my fears were put at ease when I fired up the AC unit they’ve installed. Ah! Sweet, sweet cool air. I spent two and a half weeks at this rental, and it was great. Anything you would need, they’ve thought of and provided. Even things I wouldn’t have thought of? Boom! Already there. You don’t have to worry about packing all your soaps and conditioners because the showers got ’em. You’re a coffee drinker? Good thing they’ve already provided the maker and (at least when I was there) coffee, too. It’s like they’re in my mind! I had a few friends over at different points, and every one of them remarked how much they’d rather stay here than some big box no personality hotel/motel, and at lower cost than someplace you would actually want to step foot in. Oh, and the SHEETS! I nearly forgot about the sheets on the bed. Seriously, it felt like two angels were holding me as I drifted to sleep. No, really! I hope this helps any traveler staying in the Spokane area to make the right choice.

★★★★★ The listing was exactly as described and was adorable and clean. I loved staying here and it was ideal for graduation weekend (go zags!). The house was well stocked with wonderful cute decor. John and Erica were super helpful and kind when I requested to stop in early and drop off my bags. 10/10 would stay again.

★★★★★ The place was exactly neat, clean, tastefully decorated and actually a little more spacious than the photos indicate. The kitchen was well-appointed for cooking. Excellent TV with many channels. Erica graciously gave us use of the detached garage (equipped with a combination lock) for bicycle storage. I’d stay there again!

This property is a wonderful, clean, well-maintained home in a nice area! It’s a 5 minute walk to the Gonzaga campus and within a half hour walk downtown or to the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. There are many restaurants in the area and a major grocery store 4 blocks away. The location offers easy access to I90 and N Division. The owners provided all the basic amenities for cooking as well as towels, bedding, TV and internet. They provided outstanding customer service and prompt responses to our queries. We had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend this property to our friends and relatives!
